Overview
The DiMeo family moves from a neighborhood they hate to one a little more upscale in an effort to improve their lives. They just might find more complications though as new challenges confront them in their new environment. Mother Maya intends to take those challenges head-on with her take-charge attitude while dad Jimmy lets her take the lead, not believing himself to be as intelligent as he really is. Their three kids - an athletic daughter, the brainy middle son, and their nonverbal son with cerebral palsy get caught in the midst of it all.
