Overview
King Edward II was a brutal and ruthless monarch, and he conquered much of the surrounding land. A Welsh Knight named Wilkin Brattle is almost killed in an epic battle serving King Edward II. Near death, Wilkin has a vision, and he realizes that he is fighting for the wrong cause. Wilkin decides to live the rest of his life peacefully on a farm. Unfortunately, Wilkin's family is murdered, and his dream of peace is shattered. Wilkin Brattle leads a revolt against the evil English empire, but he is forced to take the identity of a deceased executioner.
