After his success on Saturday Night Live, comedian Eddie Murphy decided to try his hand at movies. After finding initial success playing fictional roles, Murphy decided to capture his stand-up routine in the successful 1983 film "Delirious." In 1987, Murphy decided to bring his stand-up to the silver screen one more time and give his fans a look into what his life had been like since he left his successful television show and decided to set out on his own. The comedian covers topics such as marriage, love and also attempts to apologize to people he may have offended in his first stand-up movie. Murphy starts off with a sketch that shows what family gatherings were like when he was young and then he sets off on a blistering set of stand-up comedy.
