Overview
Jane the Virgin is a series about a young Latina woman who is accidentally artificially inseminated at a routine gynecologist checkup. Jane is consequently shocked to find out she is pregnant, especially considering she is still a virgin and has always planned to wait till marriage to have sex for the first time. Now faced with the prospect of a child, Jane is then told the father of the baby is a married man, cancer survivor and current owner of the hotel where she works. He also happens to be the handsome Latino playboy she had a huge crush on when she was younger.
