Overview
Empire is a family drama centered on the world of hip-hop. Diagnosed with a severe illness, rap mogul Lucious Lyon is forced to make the hard decision of which of his three sons will inherit his musical empire. The fight for power and money causes bitter rivalries and corrupt plotting that disrupt Lucious' family. The situation becomes even more complicated when his ex-wife decides to fight for his fortune. High drama ensues in this soap opera-like narrative. Amidst bitter jealousy, hatred and conniving schemes, Lucious is given the difficult task of finding the solution to fixing his already fractured family.
