Overview
Two strangers, Peter Highman and Ethan Tremlay, disparagingly come across each other on a flight to Los Angeles. A petty argument ensues between them, which then escalates and causes them both to be kicked off the plane. Their names are added to the "No Fly" list, and Peter realizes that he has somehow misplaced his wallet, so he reluctantly decides to drive with Etan to L.A. instead. Peter, who is desperately trying to get to his birthing wife, makes various attempts to speed up the process, but only encounters a string of unlucky events due to Ethan's irresponsibility before he does so; this includes crashing Ethan's car, being kicked out of his friend Darryl's house, getting arrested for possession of marijuana, and being accidentally shot by Ethan.
