Trouble is brewing in the royal house of the Inhumans, a humanoid species cross-bred with aliens and in possession of great and fantastic powers. Black Bolt, the king of his people, has such a shockwave voice that he cannot speak aloud without harming others. His wife and queen, Medusa, can control her serpentine hair like a weapon. His brother Maximus has lost his powers, and this deficit makes him crave authority and control over regular humans.
