Overview
When a Boeing 767 goes silent and dark moments after landing at JFK airport, Centers for Disease Control emergency containment expert Dr. Ephraim Goodweather is called upon to investigate. He leads the rapid-response Canary Team onto the plane, and the unit discovers all but four people are dead from a mysterious and ancient vampiric virus. Goodweather eventually teams with Holocaust survivor Abraham Setrakian and a band of vampire fighters to combat the virus before it spreads throughout New York City and beyond.
