Overview
This documentary compellingly reviews the life of American athlete Lance Armstrong, as told by intimate friends as well as journalists who questioned his integrity early one. Armstrong managed to cycle his way to fame by winning the Tour de France competition seven times after conquering cancer of the testicles. The absence of Armstrong's father during his childhood as well as the creation of his popular Live Strong philanthropic organization demonstrate some of the highs and lows of his life, until his reputation comes crashing down after he finally admits to taking illegal drugs in order to enhance his cycling performance.
