Overview
Neo-Dadaist artist Ushio Shinohara has stood at the creative forefront of Japan's underground art scene for many decades. Noriko, the eccentric visionary's wife, has stood by his side for a very long time but she has felt stirrings over time to attempt to accomplish artistic goals of her own. This documentary chronicles these two dreamers and their individual struggles. It presents Ushio's continuing attempts to attain the commercial notice that his work is due while also presenting the personal statement that Noriko has made in a series of line art pieces that reflect her own life.
