Overview
Three beautiful, relentless women vie for the throne in a portrayal of one of the most catastrophic times in English history. Elizabeth Woodville, Margaret Beaufort, and Anne Neville are questing for power that can only be attained through royalty. In 1464, war ravaged England in a big to deem the rightful king, and with this rivalry came two opponents – the House of York and the House of Lancaster. Young, manipulative, and virile men fought dutifully from both sides, attempting to make their families proud by being crowned. However, when Edward IV of the House of York is deemed superior, both houses begin wondering if there was foul play afoot. With the help of Lord Warwick, Edward is crowned King of England, falling in love almost immediately with his rival’s commoner. Stakes are high as this sets off a power struggle amidst the ladies of both houses, vying for a position next to the king.
