The Parkers seem like an upstanding family that lives in the very rural area just outside of town. Everyone assumes that they are good people, but the Parkers have a secret. Frank is the father of the Parker family and he holds hard to the ancient customs that have been handed down from generation to generation. Behind closed doors, Frank rules the house with a heavy hand and he has his daughters Iris and Rose take on traditional roles that would shock most people. The entire town is thrown into a panic when a significant rainfall hits the area and threatens to flood the town. The Parkers find their properly slowly eroding away and the parts of their home that start flowing into town make the authorities wonder what is really going on in the Parker house. |
