Overview
Three months after Hurricane Katrina wreaks havoc on New Orleans, residents of the city's Treme' neighborhood, including a trombone player, a writer, a Mardi Gras Indian, a lawyer and a chef, work to rebuild their homes, businesses and lives. The city's rebirth is, however, not a painless one. Not all residents have returned to their homes, and many of the ones who have returned are bitter and blame their government for abandoning them. Criminals prey on citizens, and the police force, devastated by the storm, is of little help.
