Overview
Attorney Kate Reed is fed up with the legal system. Given her natural ability to understand the complexities of human nature, coupled with her knowledge of the law, she opts to become a mediator in her father's law firm. Although she's a success at resolving legal disputes, dealing with the struggles in her own life is another matter. Kate's contentious relationships with her colleagues, ex husband, and callous stepmother keep her teetering on the edge. Fortunately, Kate has her assistant, Leo, to support her through the tough times.
