Overview
This show follows the true story of the married Elizabeth Taylor as she meets Richard Burton on the set of Cleopatra and subsequently falls madly in love with him. The attraction is mutual, and thus begins a turbulent and passionate love affair between two of the hottest stars of that time. Taylor and Burton’s eventual marriage is just as turbulent as their courtship with most of the world watching their every move. Their rich, extravagant lifestyles capture the imagination, and their fascinating love story is unequaled. However, their eventual divorce and remarriage provided much fodder for gossip.
