Overview
Long before Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock took to the skies, there was another Enterprise. The initial Enterprise launched its maiden voyage of exploration a hundred years earlier. In this time period, around the year 2150, Starfleet exists, but the United Federation of Planets has not yet come to be. Captain Jonathan Archer and his crew move into space in the first human starship capable of reaching speeds of Warp 5. Among his crew are Trip Tucker, chief engineer, Malcom Reed, tactical officer and T’Pol, their Vulcan science officer. Archer and his crew explore strange new worlds while still learning what their new technologies can really do. They meet new races of people, and eventually help stop an alien race from destroying the earth.
