Overview
Charlie Goodson is a baseball player who struggled for years in the minor leagues before finally, with the help of his therapist, making it the majors. His continued struggles to control his temper eventually cause the injury that ends his baseball career. Charlie decides it would be a good idea to become a therapist himself and help others with their anger issues. Although he is now helping others, Charlie continues to have plenty of his own issues to sort out. Some of them involve Kate, his own therapist, for whom he has developed romantic feelings. Others involve his ex-wife and his daughter Sam, who struggles with OCD. Charlie tries to keep his personal life in balance as he runs his therapy group for others.
