Overview
Jewel and Blu are happily paired off Spix's macaws. These radiantly blue birds have had their fill of adventures in the exciting Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro, and now they are turning their attention to life in the Amazon Rainforest. It's a big adjustment after that urban living, but living amidst all that lush tropical beauty isn't exactly a sacrifice. It's just something they need to get used to, along with their three children, who are thrilled to grow up in such rich surroundings. Of course, the forest does have dangers, and learning how to get by with enough food is a challenge. However, the biggest threat to Blu's happiness is the presence of his father-in-law, who is determined to make his life difficult.
