Overview
Two brothers are divided by their life choices in 1970s New York when Chris is paroled after serving a long sentence for homicide. Meanwhile, his brother Frank has become a police officer and wants to forget the older brother that he once idolized. Despite his misgivings, Frank reluctantly agrees to help his brother get back on his feet. Chris tries to clean up his act, but the daily grind is too difficult for him, and he eventually backslides to his old ways.
