Overview
Creepshow is a collection of films organized into an anthology that credits its basis on a fictional comic book called Creepshow. Creepshow consists of five short films: In "Father's Day", a sentient zombie rises from the grave to reclaim a cake he didn't receive. In "The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verill", a backwoods farmer attempts to profit from a meteorite he just found. After touching it, a plant-like organism grows all over his body. "Something to Tide You Over", like "Father's Day", contains sentient zombies that exact revenge on their murder. "The Crate" includes a carnivorous ape-like creature stored under the stairwell of a University. In "They Creep Up On You", a horde of cockroaches have a vendetta against a bitter old tycoon.
