Overview
This story finds Chev Chelios after he falls to the ground. He lives, but no one - not even Chev - knows where he is. He is disoriented and being kept sedated. Mysterious Chinese people are selling organs directly from his body. His heart rests in a nearby ice chest while he survives on a temporary, mechanical heart. Chev escapes his imprisonment, but he has the name of the guy who has his heart in the ice chest. He calls on a known cardiologist who tells him to charge his temporary heart every hour or he'll die. Chev begins a high powered pursuit for his real heart so he can get it back to the doctor for a transplant before he dies.
