Overview
Susan Wheeler is studying to be a doctor because she wants to help people. Throughout her medical studies, she is warned that the business side of the healthcare industry is much more powerful than the desire to deliver quality healthcare to the public. But she forges on and becomes a intern at a large and prestigious hospital. It does not take her long to realize that something about the hospital is not what it appears to be. She notices case after case of seemingly healthy people going into sustained comas after going in for routine procedures. She decides to find out what is going on, and her image of the medical profession is soon shattered when she finds out the truth about the blurred line between medicine and business.
