Overview
Flik Royale is a subdued youngster who’s traveled from Atlanta to the housing projects of Red Hook to spend the summer with his grandfather, Bishop Enoch Rouse. The Bishop is a deeply religious man, and wastes no time trying to convert his young grandson. Just when Flik is convinced that his summer will be nothing but disaster and disappointment, he meets Chazz Morningstar, a young girl who makes an effort to show him what Brooklyn is really about. Between Chazz and Bishop Enoch, Flik realizes that he is a pretty lucky young man after all.
