Overview
After rebelling against their master and escaping from his gladiatorial training school, Spartacus and his fellow former slaves must adapt to life on the run from the Roman soldiers who hunt them. Using the combat skills they learned from their former master, the gladiators and their allies terrorize Roman citizens and free other slaves in the region. In addition to fighting the Romans, the former slaves must deal with old rivalries and new jealousies within their band. Their war of vengeance has a price, and Spartacus and his men must overcome betrayal and the loss of friends to survive. Spartacus must also make a choice between seeking vengeance against the man who destroyed his life and fighting for the future of the slaves he leads.
