Overview
Ike Evans finds himself at the center of a lot of challenges that he would rather not deal with. You would think that the owner of Miami Beach's most luxurious hotel, the Miramar Hotel, would have it made. But this is 1950's Miami and the mafia has just started to discover the lucrative potential of Miami and Cuba as well. Evans has family issues that create drama on a regular basis, and that family drama starts to melt together with his issues with the mob. After a while, Ike Evans starts to wonder what he will have to do to get his life back and be able to enjoy the success that he has worked so hard to achieve.
