Overview
A busy TV talk show producer and her stay-at-home husband grapple with the challenges of having a baby while trying to maintain balance between their personal lives and their new responsibilities caring for their newborn. Throw into the mix the needy talk show host who pre-baby relied on her producer for everything, including emotional support for her messed-up love life. Besides experiencing the problems caused by lack of sleep, role reversal, and work clothes covered with baby spit-up, the couple finds it nearly impossible to maintain their friendships on the same level they had pre-baby. When Mom begins missing out on her child's milestones, and Dad starts feeling cut off from the world, they begin to re-examine the modern parenting arrangement they chose.
