Overview
A doctor in Victorian England is inspired to invent the first sex toy, the first modern vibrator for women. Based on a true story. It was common for doctors in late 18th Century England to diagnose women with “hysteria.” The cure was to massage the vagina of the patient until they achieved a kind of “convulsion” which was not considered an orgasm. Dr. Granville has difficulty producing the result so he invents a tool, the first vibrator, to better get the job done. The events also help the doctor find true love while landing him in romantic-comedic situations.
