Overview
Being Human is a British television series that is classified as a supernatural drama. The show is primarily concerned with three young adults who live together and attempt to have normative social and personal lives despite the fact that they are supernatural beings-a vampire, werewolf, and ghost. Some of the challenges experienced by the show's supernatural creatures include the constant threat of persecution or exposure, pressure from fellow supernatural beings, and coping with the reality of being an otherworldly creature. In addition to containing elements of horror and drama, Being Human is marked by a comedic edge that makes light of the human experience even as its darker, more troublesome dimensions are explored.
