Overview
The bleak lives of five real students are followed as they face exceptionally cruel and daily bullying in various schools around America. The effect on the family of the bullied students is also explored. Two of the victims commit suicide as the result of the constant abuse they experienced at school. A variety of issues which complicate bullying behavior are explored to put the problem into greater perspective. An appeal is made to take bullying seriously as a major social dysfunction in American society.
