Overview
Maria has been released from jail and is trying to find a path to follow in life as she lives with her mother and works a low paying job to pay the bills. She returns to the center where she felt safe as a child and re-discovers her talent and passion for street dancing. Maria's ex-boyfriend is trying to get her to return to her old ways and dance with his crew, but she refuses. Instead, Maria decides to help a talented but undisciplined group of dancers from the center defeat her ex-boyfriends group in a dance contest.
