Overview
Gerry Boyle is a cop in a small town and has enough problems in his life as it stands. His mother is dying and he has a habit of picking up hookers that could get him in trouble one of these days. When a drug smuggling ring decides to use the town as a safe place to do business, the FBI sends in Agent Wendell Everett to investigate. Everett is a straight by the book type of man and Boyle is sarcastic and not prone to follow the rules. Worse yet, Boyle has no interest in finding the culprits if it means having to actually work.
