Rhonda Williams is celebrating when she hears that scientists have discovered a planet they dubbed Earth 2. Driving home after a night of drinking, Rhonda hits a car driven by John Burroughs. Burroughs' wife and son are killed and Rhonda is sent to prison for four years. Once released, Rhonda seems to have given up on her promising life. She wants to confess to John, who has also abandoned his future after the accident. But she can't bring herself to tell him the truth. They develop a friendship that quickly grows into a romantic relationship, but how can Rhonda fall in love without exposing her past to John? |
