Overview
Elizabeth Halsey is a crude high school teacher who thinks her rich husband is the key to ditching her job until he files for divorce. Forced to return to her job, she coasts through the year and ignores her students until she finds out about a cash bonus that is given to the teacher whose students receive the highest standardized test scores. Determined to receive this bonus, Elizabeth starts to take her position seriously. Meanwhile, Elizabeth competes with fellow teacher, Amy for the affections of Scott, a new teacher at the school. After realizing that her attempts to win the bonus and Scott's attention are unlikely to succeed, she hatches a plan for cheating on the test and sabotaging Amy's chances with Scott.
