Overview
The fascination with fast cars and powerful engines that started in Britain has reached the shores of the United States and taken off with a bang. The big difference here is that the focus is on cars and trucks made in the USA. Different types of American vehicles are presented with a variety of challenges that they must meet to be deemed worthy of the "Top Gear" designation. To put the vehicles to the ultimate test, the challenges are often found in other parts of the world where American made vehicles are asked to conquer natural obstacles that have stopped other vehicles in the past. The cars are modified and all of the modifications are discussed in detail by a panel of experts.
