Overview
When the publisher of the "Daily Sentinel" passes away, Britt Reid, his son, has to take over the new publishing responsibilities of the company. Known to be a playboy and a socially immature individual, Britt Reid is forced into this role of responsibility. Afterr he vents his anger out on a statue, Britt and his family's mechanic, Kato, ends up saving a couple from a group of thugs, leading to Britt's realization that they should become superheroes. With Britt leading the charge, and Kato as the actual brains and brawn, they look to fight crime on the weekends. But they bite off a bit more than they can chew as they topple a drug facility of the kingpin Chudnofsky. Now, the Green Hornet is chased by both the cops and the mafia, and no one can help them but themselves.
