Overview
The tale of Carl Lucas' violent rise to fame is told in this prequel. In the future, prison convicts are given a chance for freedom in a newly devised television program where the contestants battle to the death in heavily armed vehicles. Lucas has been convicted for killing a police officer when he is given a chance at the brutally violent demolition derby. Together with a car named "Frankenstein," Lucas makes a name for himself with the blood of others.
