Trailer | Overview In the small fishing village of Cornwall in 1936, two sister named Ursula and Janet Widdington find Andrea, a talented Polish violin player, washed up on the beach near their home after his ship was washed away by a violent storm. Handsome and dashing, the two sisters happily care for him until he is once again healthy. Olga, a vacationing artist, sets her sights on Andrea after she hears him play his violin. Her brother is a famous violinist and as Andrea and Olga grow closer, she encourages him to meet her brother in London. Andrea is torn; he has grown to care very deeply for Ursula and Janet but he knows that this is his chance to make a successful career for himself. He decides to leave, foregoing saying goodbye to the sisters, who are heartbroken. Later, they receiver a letter from him detailing his successes and newly found happiness. |
