Overview
Eight radio disc jockeys who love thumbing their nose at convention gather on a boat in the north Atlantic ocean in the early 1960s in this comedy in order to play rock and roll music on a round the clock basis, breaking English laws in the process. Despite the British government's efforts to shut these pirates down permanently, the motley crew of DJs lead by The Count triumphs by giving their audience what they want to hear, which is a steady diet of such spectacular rock and roll artists as David Bowie, The Beatles, Cat Stevens, Otis Redding and The Beach Boys.
