Overview
William Shakespeare's classic comedy gets a lively rendition accompanied by a sweeping score. Bianca, the younger daughter of a wealthy merchant, longs to be wed, but she must wait until her older sister Katarina is courted first. Katarina is considerably more independent and has frightened off a number of suitors. It is left to the intense Petruchio, a lusty wanderer, to accomplish the nearly impossible task of sweeping Katarina off of her feet. Once her sister is courted, Bianca must navigate a sea of sharks to find an honest suitor.
