Overview
In 1920's Czechoslovakia intrepid filmmaker F.W. Murnau attempts to adapt the story of Dracula for the silent screen. He gets more than he bargained for when his mysterious handpicked lead actor, Max Schreck, plays the part a little too well for the cast and crew. Max is instructed to never break character, and is never seen without makeup. It becomes apparent, as members of the crew start to wind up sick, injured, or dead, that Schreck might not have to worry about acting at all.
