Overview
A deputy sheriff from New Mexico named Ray Dolezal is called to a scene in the White Sands desert where tourists have discovered a mysterious dead body with a suitcase containing half a million dollars. Capitalizing on an opportunity to bail on his small-town family-man lifestyle, he steals the money, digs further to discover the man's identity and begins to impersonate him. It doesn't take long for Dolezal to lose the money at gunpoint and find out that the victim was actually an undercover FBI agent. Brought under the control of an agent who may not be as he first appears and masquerading under a dead man's name, Dolezal's flirtation with identity theft pulls him into a web of deception and murder.
