Overview
Amidst the 1960's Cuban Missile Crisis, two sons of a Navy officer eagerly await the release of a kitschy new horror film that stirs up their Key West community. The film's creator, Lawrence Woolsey, holds no punches as he exploits every marketing tactic to ensure the film's success. As Soviet-U.S. tensions build, so does the hype for Woolsey's movie. The filmmaker employs a number of gimmicks, such as Atomo-Vision and Rumble-Rama, to safe-guard the feature's success and provide a moment of escapism for a nervous community.
