Overview
In Murphy's Law, Jack Murphy is a rough and tumble cop whose life has gotten a little difficult. He recently killed a mobster's brother and has a target on his back. His life has left him to become a stripper and refuses his entreaties to come back to him. Because of this, he turns to alcohol. At this low point, his wife is murdered, and he is framed for the kill. When he is arrested for the murder, Murphy manages to escape-- but not without being shackled to a street kid who he had arrested himself earlier. They go on the run, and Murphy knows he has to find his wife's killer before the cops find him.
