Overview
Blind violinist Emma Brody is overjoyed when she comes up next on the list for a corneal transplantation. Her vision is partially restored, but she is still overwhelmed by new visionary input and delayed sensory information. After her next-door neighbor is murdered, Emma realizes that she may have seen the killer. She tries to convince the police that she saw the murderer, but they are reluctant to consider a witness with eyesight problems. Tough Chicago cop John Hallstrom is the only officer who believes her, but even he may not be able to protect her from the killer who is determined to silence her at any cost.
