Trailer | Overview Easter weekend in Holly Springs, Mississippi, is typically a quiet time, until this year. Camille Dixon, the local theater owner who's outsized personality grates on everyone in town, has just learned that her aunt, Jewell Mae "Cookie" Orcutt, has just committed suicide. Determined not to let the truth out and besmirch her family's reputation, Camille eats the suicide note and attempts to make Cookie's death look like a murder. She then accuses Cookie's best friend, Willis Richland, of the crime. Although few of the town's residents believe Willis is guilty, a new investigator in town isn't convinced he is not. As the holiday weekend unfolds, and along with it opening night of Camille's newest production, secrets come to light that no one could have imagined. |
