Overview
An unhappy woman who operates a country diner with her older husband begins an affair with a handsome traveler. The two successfully hatch a plot to murder her husband so that she may retain control of her late husband’s estate. A local district attorney, suspicious of the events surrounding the man’s death, goes to work turning the two lovers against each other. Intense legal drama and backroom dealings ensue, leaving one to wonder if justice will truly be served.
