Billy Madison, an overtly pampered and child-like imbecile, is aghast when he discovers that his father, intent on retiring, is planning on handing over ownership of Madison Hotels to his archenemy Eric Gordon. However, a deal is struck: if Billy succeeds in redoing grades k-12, he will not only prove himself as a worthy adult to his father, but successfully prevent the ownership of his family's empire from falling into the wrong hands. He is given a total of twenty-six weeks, two weeks per grade, to acquire the intelligence he failed to gain the first time around. Plots are secretly made against him. A romance sparks up. And struggles present themselves to Billy along the way, making his mission much more difficult than he'd anticipated.
