Overview
A Tibetan mastiff who has undergone genetic modification in the laboratory of a mad scientist named Dr. Jarrett escapes and makes his way into the greater population. Initially, he appears to be gentle and harmless, and Lori Tanner, a reporter who is passionate about animal rights, happily takes him in. She does not suspect that there is anything amiss about this dog even though she has a reporter's nose for a story. Before too long, however, the dog begins to behave strangely, and she starts to wonder whether there is something wrong with the previously affectionate creature. By the time she realizes just how dangerous this dog might be, he is able to wreak havoc on the town, attacking everyone who gets in his way.
