A mysterious cat arrives in search of a little girl, as he has been tasked with protecting her. However, before he finds her, he is taken in by two other people. The first is a doctor who uses very questionable methods in order to get people to stop smoking. His patients are not crazy about being his guinea pigs, and one of them resists his efforts strongly. The cat's second owner is an eccentric millionaire with a cruel streak. He insists his wife walk a narrow ledge high above the ground, unconcerned about the danger to her life. Finally, the cat finds his way to the little girl he is looking for, and he serves as her protector against an evil troll near her house. |
