Overview
Holland has left behind the life of a CIA assassin to enjoy a peaceful retirement on an island in the West Indies. When his good friend Jorge Hidalgo is murdered, Holland is convinced to come out of retirement to investigate Hidalgo's death. Hidalgo was a dissident journalist who was investigating the actions of a Welsh doctor, Dr. Clement Murdoch, in Guatemala. Murdoch has been selling his skills and knowledge of torture techniques to any government willing to pay the price. Hector Lomelin hires Holland to find out what happened to Hidalgo. Posing as a family man on vacation, Holland travels to Guatemala where he uses Hidalgo's widow and daughter as bait to lure Murdoch out of hiding for a final confrontation.
